Founded in 2007 View from Here screens a mix of award winning drama and documentaries, young people’s films, and premieres of new work filmed in and around the region. Embracing all forms of moving image View from Here  provides accessible and innovative community centred events by combining screenings in local cinemas and theatre’s with free events in community centres, schools, outdoor environments, pubs, cafes, and galleries. South Devon is fast becoming a hub of filmmaking talent, fed by an active and supportive community.
