Paula graduated in dance from De Montfort University and has since been working in Britain and internationally as a performer, director and tutor of movement and devised theatre. Between 1996-99 She was director of Award Winning New Zealand theatre company All and Sundry and core member of Pantheatre Poneke’s devising lab investigating choreographic and voice interactions with light. In 2000, Paula completed an MA in Devised Theatre at Dartington College of Arts where she is now an Associate Lecturer in Theatre and module leader of Technology and Performance. Paula works with Blind Ditch as a writer and director, workshop facilitator and project manager. Alongside Blind Ditch other recent work includes: director for Hunting the Giant's Daughter national tour with Adverse Camber, director for Walkie Talkie and Is this it? with Creative Wales Award winning choreographer Jem Treays performed at The Place, London, Dancebase Edinburgh Fringe, Dublin Festival and Anti-Static Taunton, co-director/devisor dissocia by Anthony Neilson, director The Table by Natalie McGrath, movement director for The Dukes in Lancaster on Tom Thumb and Other Giant Stories, Fandango!, Dancing at Lughnasa and Arabian Nights , choreographer for the Northcott Theatre Exeter on Harry in the Moonlight, Jack and the Beanstalk, Dancing at Lughnasa, Private Lives, Days of Hope and Matthew Miller.
